Unable to calculate New-to-Trial from Events

If i export New Users totals, and all the events, I'm able to manually calculate New-User-to-Trial rate. Problem is that it doesn't match what is reported in Qonversion.

I suspected that it was excluding events that weren't from New Users in the numerator, but that would mean my calculated conversion values would consistently be larger than reported. But that isn't the case.

New Users (iOS): 9,698
Trial Start events (iOS): 326
New-User-to-Trial Conversion (iOS) = 326/9,698 = 3.36%
REPORTED New-User-to-Trial Conversion (iOS) = 3.07%

Why the discrepancy?

New-User-to-Trial Conversion

Calculated as the number of trial start events divided by the number of installs.
→ Numerator: Trial started events attributed to users who installed an app during the selected period
→ Denominator: Installs for the selected period
